Professional Experience:
Mr. Gollapalli is a Transportation Engineer and has been with Adler Consulting since 2007. His primary responsibility are to conduct Traffic Impact Studies and Parking Studies associated with property/corridor development, Traffic Signal Optimization Studies and preparation of Traffic Signal Construction Plans.
Project Engineer, RADISE International
Assisted in writing Quality Assurance Certification Reports, and also in completing project reports, that included settlement analysis; sieve analysis; Atterberg limits using gINT software; compaction (proctor) tests; California bearing ratio; borehole/boring logs. Was also responsible for supervising material testing, construction and material testing of both concrete and earthwork, ACI certified Inspector, Troxler certified and also to provide estimates of quantities, maintain field logs of day to day construction activity and equipment utilized.

Representative projects: Consultant Engineer for residential and commercial developments: Projects included design, construction plan approvals from government, multistoried constructions, soil and foundation analysis, remodeling and developing existing sites. Mr. Gollapalli assisted in conducting Traffic Impact Studies, Parking Studies and Corridor Improvement Studies. Responsibilities included organizing and conducting traffic counts, data collection, field reviews, trip generation, assignment, distribution, traffic forecasting, performing accident analysis and operational analysis and signal optimization using SYNCHRO & HCS software, prepare location plans using AutoCAD to develop alternatives, cost estimates and B/C ratios develop alternatives, signal warrant analysis, left turn phase warrant analysis and evaluate the alternatives to mitigate the development scenarios.

Assisted in conducting traffic safety and operational reviews, as a part of a District Wide Traffic Operations Safety Review projects for both FDOT District 4 (Fort Lauderdale) and FDOT District 6 (Miami) offices; and, assisted in preparing reports that identified safety countermeasures. Responsibilities also included organizing and conducting traffic counts and field reviews, performing crash analysis and operational analysis using SYNCHRO, TRANSYT-7F, SIGNAL 2000 & HCS software, prepare location plans using MicroStation, develop alternatives, cost estimates and B/C ratios. Work also included signal warrant analysis, left turn phase warrant analysis, speed/ gap studies, queuing analysis, and signal timing adjustments and optimization, origin-destination studies, traffic calming studies, travel time delay studies and developing mitigation measures. Conceptual plans that recommended signal relocation, modifications to pavement marking and signing, lane reduction, transitions; recommend roadway illumination per MUTCD guidelines and FDOT standards.
